Elizabeth Jones, PhD Director for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Duke University "Microaggressions and Implicit Bias: The Basics" This session will offer foundational information about microaggressions and implicit bias. In this interactive session, participants will learn how to define these and related terms and how to understand and address issues of bias as they show up in the workplace within our Duke community. Participants will have an opportunity for skill building around response and prevention of microaggressions in our community and will develop a deeper understanding about how to recognize and intentionally challenge implicit bias.
