Brandon joined Duke Integrative Immunobiology in September of 2018 and provides support to various laboratories within the department.
Job Duties
- Performs daily washing and autoclaving for assigned laboratories
- Maintains and orders supplies necessary to perform all autoclave and washing duties
- Obtains, cleans, sterilizes and wraps instruments, glassware and equipment, per label requirements
- Disposes of all biowaste as defined by internal guidelines
- Provides service for closing out vacated laboratories and disposes of chemicals
- Prepares items to be sent to Surplus
