Kelsoe elected as Distinguished Fellow of AAI

Garnett H. Kelsoe III, D.Sc., the James B. Duke Distinguished Professor of Immunology, has been elected as a Distinguished Fellow of the American Association of Immunologists (AAI) for 2026.

This honor recognizes active, long-term members of the association for distinguished careers and outstanding scientific contributions as well as their service to AAI and the immunology community. It is one of the highest honors bestowed by the AAI.

Kelsoe, who is also a professor of integrative immunobiology, was one of 26 distinguished fellows elected this year.

“I am very pleased to receive this distinction from my AAI colleagues. It rightly should be shared with my trainees and collaborators,” he said.
