As 2023 draws to a close, I wanted to wish everyone a happy holiday season and a fulfilling new year. Great things have been happening in IIB and I would like to take this opportunity to highlight some our major accomplishments for the year.
Melissa Harnois earns PhD in Immunology
Congratulations to Dr. Melissa Harnois, who successfully defended her dissertation entitled, "Evaluating Humoral Immune Responses Against HLA and Cytomegalovirus in Human Lung Transplantation".
PhD candidate Naren Mehta awarded NIH F31 grant
On November 27th, Naren Mehta of Maria Ciofani's lab was awarded a highly prestigious F31 grant from the The National Institutes of Health, supporting 3 years of funding.
Europe Bailey Doan earns PhD in Immunology
Europe Bailey Doan of the Tedder Lab successfully defended her dissertation entitled, "Patterns of Autoantibody Expression in Multiple Sclerosis and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus Revealed Through the Development of an Autoantigen Discovery Technology".

New Mouse Model Discovered to Study Granuloma Response
